PAC Meeting at Morningside re: traditional (including K) and DLI: October 14th, 6 PM
A crowd of 60 or 70 people turned out to protest outside the Granite Education Center prior to the district’s board meeting on October 7th.
Despite vociferous opposition from the Morningside and Eastwood communities, the PAC presented essentially the same plan they had at the Olympus and Skyline open houses in late September.
Significantly, no future ‘home’ for the ALC program was announced.
In a departure from the presentation distributed in the meeting packet, the PAC announced they would re-visit new ALC and French DLI locations based on feedback.
